POSITION TITLE: Pro Shop Manager REPORTS TO: Sales Manager

As a Pro Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the ordering, merchandising and consistently meeting or surpassing sales objectives of the pro shop.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with Owner & Sales Manager to order and stock the right products for the pro shop
• Merchandise products in a professional & inviting manner
• Adhere to company’s formal sales process map and guidelines
• Greet customers that enter showroom or outside sales lot
• Assist customer in locating product, and help qualify customer based on needs, wants and budget
• Show customer products that properly match customer criteria
• Explain features and benefits of product, answer customer questions
• Explain reason to buy from sales consultant and dealership
• Offer pricing and breakdown of available options for product
• Gather and maintain customer contact information during sales to:
• Demonstrate product, review benefits of product and dealership
• Regularly follow up with customer until sale is closed

• Follow up with customer after product use
• Maintain database of prospects
• Identify and pursue potential customers
• Attend sales training as required by supervisor
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Professional appearance
• Prior marine experience/boating enthusiasts preferred
• Ability to make decisions to satisfy customer without authority.
• Strong understanding of product sold in dealership and sales department process.
• Strong communication and closing skills
• Result oriented, goal minded
• Willingness to work weekends
• Have a valid state driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background/drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
